CAPE MAY – Congress Hall, known by many locals as Cape May’s Living Room, will host a Sunday Supper and Old Timey Hymn Sing March 9 at 6 p.m. in the Ballroom. A collection plate will be passed to raise funds for the Cape May Food Bank.
This community gathering will celebrate the rich American tradition of sharing faith through singing hymns together – hymns that directly tie us to our forefathers and to the very beginnings of America. Sunday Supper includes comfort food staples such as fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and apple pie. Guests are invited to sing along with musicians Myra Vassian and the Congress Hall Festival Choir, Tom Naglee Jr. on fiddle, Kate Delany, Don Shaw, Ann Oswald, and more. Singing and entertainment will follow immediately after supper. The cost of Supper is $14.95 for adults, $7.95 for children 12 and younger and free for children 3 and younger.
Reservations are required. Please call (609) 884-8422 to reserve. For more information, visit www.caperesorts.com.
