COURT HOUSE – Letter carriers, other postal employees and volunteers from throughout Cape May County will collect non-perishable food Dec. 8 to help fill local food pantries that assist the less fortunate.

In addition, collections will also be taken at local post offices.
According to a release, all food collected in this drive stays within the county.
Suggested items include breakfast cereal, canned fruit, canned vegetables, baby food and formula, juice, soup, applesauce, instant potatoes, tuna, ravioli, peanut butter, jelly, mayonnaise, dry pasta, spaghetti sauce, rice, beef stew and chili.
