NORTH WILDWOOD – A nonprofit that hosted disadvantaged kids is hoping to restore its home through fundraising efforts, 6abc reports.
The Children’s Fresh Air Home, located at the corner of 11th and Surf avenues, has sat empty for the last decade. The home had to be shut down in 2006 when the foundation was sinking into the ground, which was fixed by raising it.
Now, The Children’s Fresh Air Home hopes to finish the job by raising $300,000 to match a state grant North Wildwood has applied for, the report continued.
Deadline to raise the money is the end of April. Anyone wanting to donate may do so here.
