VILLAS – As reported Nov. 11, “Cape Hope” is a community organization that seeks to provide warming centers and warm winter clothing to the homeless population in Cape May County, especially in circumstances where County Social Services are not an option.
Spokesperson Denise Venturini stated Cape Hope has collected much warm clothing and that they are making that clothing available to any organization, church or entity that wishes to distribute it to those in need this winter.
She also wants to inform the public that they can drop off cold-weather clothing in collection boxes located in all libraries, West Wildwood Bible Church, the county Administration Building, 4 Moore Road, Court House, county Department of Mosquito Control, 35 Route 47 North, Dias Creek, and First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House, Hand Avenue and Main Street, Court House.
Organizations may call Cape Hope at 997-1734 to arrange to pick up or to receive deliveries of the clothing.
