Church’s Donation Aids Cape Hope, Homeless

MARMORA – Cape Hope was given a donation Aug. 23 towards its LOOP Ministry that will carry through this cold winter season. 

The Rio Grande-based organization advocates for the homeless in Cape May County. Its officials  thanked those at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Marmora.

Those donations were from family, friends, and fellow parishioners of the church.

The Women’s Auxiliary donated $250 to fill in any gaps in what was needed for the bags.

Marmora Family Dental donated toothpaste and toothbrushes for the bags.

Those Blessing Bags contain water, instant coffee, juice packs, toiletries, beef jerky, granola bars, instant oatmeal and snack, hard candy, fruit snacks, baby wipes, first aid kits and a small flashlight.
