CAPE MAY – The First Annual Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation Art Show will be held at the award-winning Mad Batter Restaurant in Cape May from April 5 through May 10. The public is invited to an opening reception on April 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. where light refreshments will be served. To honor the men and women of the United States Coast Guard, all art will have a maritime theme or feature the Coast Guard.
The exhibit is part of the Mad Batter family’s ongoing support of the artist community and may be viewed seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Proceeds from the sale of art will benefit the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation.
The inaugural fine art show kicks off the 2018 Cape May County Coast Guard Community Festival. The festival will be held May 5–6 and celebrates the men and women of the United States Coast Guard serving in the South Jersey region.

The Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City will conduct thrilling search and rescue demonstrations, and the U.S. Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard and Recruit Band will perform. There will be tours of Cape May Harbor, children’s activities, vendors, food, live music and historical exhibits.
