Readiness Earns Award for Coast Guard Station Cape May

CAPE MAY — Capt. Meredith Austin, commanding officer of Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia, presented the Sumner I. Kimball Readiness Award to Lt. Scott Murphy, commanding officer of Coast Guard Station Cape May, at the station, Fri., July 8.
Shortly afterward, the crew gathered for a photograph to mark reception of the award.
The Sumner I. Kimball Readiness Award is given to units that score highly on drills during a week long standardization team evaluation. Only 10 percent of the units that qualify receive the award.
