Coast Guard held its annual Memorial Day Sunset Parade at Training Center Cape May May 29 on the parade field at dusk. Part of the ceremony was sponsored by the Coast Guard Enlisted Memorial Foundation. This organization raises money to erect “a fitting memorial to over 1,500 Coast Guard enlisted men and women who lost their lives in the performance of Coast Guard missions.” The display of 100 empty pairs of boots at the parade field represents a fraction of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Anyone interested in donating to build this memorial at TRACEN Cape May can learn more at www.CGEMF.org.
Dennisville – As a parent of a Tech student it would be great if the school would update their staff directory. So many old staff still listed and no new teachers listed. What gives?
