AVALON- The Coast Guard rescued two jet skiers that ran aground in Avalon on Sunday.
Petty officer 3rd class, Chris Conway, a Coast Guard rescue swimmer, was lowered from a helicopter into the Avalon marsh to rescue the jet skiers.
Conway assisted the two men, carrying one of them through waist deep water for a quarter mile to get them to the Avalon Fire Department boat waiting nearby.
