CAPE MAY– The Coast Guard medevaced a 61-year-old man from aboard an 88-foot boat 50 miles off the coast of Cape May Saturday.
The Coast Guard received a call at 7:47 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the Eileen Marie, homeported in New Bedford, Mass., reporting the man was accidentally hit by a scallop dredge and barely responsive.
A rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., arrived on scene and hoisted the man on their helicopter.
The man was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City for treatment.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
