Christmas Care Packages for Soldiers

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – Send a Smile to a Soldier this holiday season by helping a Cape May County-based non-profit organization send Christmas Care Packages to active United States troops serving in Afghanistan.
Make it a family or classroom project and fill a grocery store-sized bag with items that will fill a soldier with holiday cheer and let them know we appreciate their service to our country, especially while they’re away from their family members and friends this holiday season.
Care Package items could include but are not limited to Travel Size Toiletries, Hardy Candy or Gum, Jerky, Individual Size Drink Mix Packets, Razors, Feminine Hygiene Products, Lip Balm, Magazines, Puzzle Books, DVDs (used or new), Fleece Blankets, Muscle Ache Ointment, Christmas Cards, A Family or Group Photo of the senders, Candy Canes, a Stocking filled with holiday goodies (no chocolate please) and anything else that would boost morale.
We’ll take care of the shipping and handling.
Deadline is Dec. 1, for this final shipment of Care Packages for Soldiers for the season.
Call (609) 827-9843 for more information or to set up a pick-up/drop-off location, or send an e-mail to freedomfightersusa@comcast.net.
To make a monetary donation, make the check out to Freedom Fighters, PO Box 311, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
