Children in Foster Care Need Court Advocates

COURT HOUSE — CASA for Children of Atlantic and Cape May Counties seeks individuals interesting in becoming volunteer court advocates for children living in foster care. All individuals are welcome, as no special skills are needed to become a court advocate. Interested parties should attend the upcoming Information Session on May 7 at 4 p.m. at the AtlantiCare Complex, 106 Court House South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House. The session explains the role and responsibilities of a CASA volunteer, gives an overview of the CASA program and outlines the training procedures. There is no cost for this program.

Trained CASA volunteers advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system and are dedicated to ensuring these children are placed in safe permanent homes as quickly as possible. For more information about CASA, visit www.AtlanticCapeCASA.org.
