Weddings & Special Events Guide: Deb and Frank

By Ashley Love

How they met: Deb and Frank grew up in the same town together. They attended the same high school. This is not where the love story begins. Frank joined the Air Force and Deb did not speak to him again until 25 years later. It was through Facebook that Deb sent Frank a friend request before their high school reunion. The rest is history.
The proposal: The couple went on a cruise with Deb’s parents in April of 2013. On the third night of the cruise, Frank took Deb out. While out that evening a video began playing and the next thing Deb remembers is Frank down on one knee. Her parents were there to witness the whole thing.
The planning: They knew right away they wanted to have their wedding at the Jersey Shore as they had both spent their summers there growing up. Deb and Frank wanted a party and that is exactly what they got in Wildwood!
The wedding: Deb and Frank were married on May 17. 60 of their closest friends and family surrounded them as they said “I do” and danced the night away.
Deb’s favorite moment: The couple chose to write their own vows. One of the bride’s favorite moments was seeing Frank trying to hold back his tears. It was an incredible moment for the couple.
