How they met: Matt and Ashley met through mutual friends. After a few meetings Ashley agreed to go out with Matt and the rest is history!
The proposal: Matt proposed on Christmas after their son had turned one. There was a toy phone given as gift. Instead of there actually being a toy phone in the box there was a ring.
The planning: Ashley wanted to give a ceremony that was both fun and would not break the bank. The decision to get married in Cape May was an easy one as the couple grew up in Cape May. They wanted a low key and relaxed wedding and this was the perfect place to do so. Ashley’s favorite part of the planning came from making the bouquets and center pieces. Ashley also catered her own wedding!
The wedding: Ashley and Matt tied the knot on June 21.
Ashley’s favorite moment: The bride loved that she was able to have her dream wedding without overspending. “Marrying my best friend was not too bad either,” Ashley concluded.
