Couples spend months planning the perfect day so it is important to find the right photographer to capture the celebration. Your photographer will spend more time with you on your wedding day than most other people and will be involved weeks after your wedding. Here are some tips on how to ensure you are in love with your wedding day photographs.
Trust is one of the most important things when it comes to photography and cinematography. The people you hire are with you more than anyone else on your wedding day, and continue to work with you after the wedding. It is important that you feel comfortable and trust the person capturing your images and films. The more at ease you are the more genuine and natural your photos and film will be.
Posing in front of a camera for the first time can seem daunting and being natural is easier said than done. To keep poses as natural as possible, don’t be afraid to interact with each other, laugh and enjoy the moment. As a photographer, I guide my couples and direct them so that they naturally move into a pose instead of just placing them in one. This allows me to capture the most genuine photos.
Timing is everything. The best way to make sure there is plenty of time for all those beautiful photos/film you want is to make a timeline with your photographer /cinematographer, they will be able to give you advice on how long things should take and insure you time for creative and meaningful imagery! Opting for a first look will help with that and it will also allow you to enjoy more time with your guests.
