Shelby was a top ten graduate of the Spelman College Class of 2017. She graduated Summa Cum Laude on May 21, 2017. During her tenure at Spelman, Shelby served as the Director of the Spelman Mock Trial Team, received the Yale University Liman Fellowship, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. Shelby will go on to attend Harvard Law School. She is a
graduate of Middle Township High School and the daughter of a very proud Linda Jackson Smith and the late Stanley Branch.
