Carlos Morales for Dennis Township Committee

By Sponsored

Carlos Morales’ pursuit of a seat on the Dennis Township Committee stems from his desire to understand and help others; the idea of service over self.
A native to Cape May County, Carlos’ ties to Dennis Township started while working as a summer camp counselor for the Recreation Department. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Monmouth University in 2010, Carlos married his high school sweetheart, and township resident, Ashley (Ay).
Recognizing Dennis as the perfect place to raise a family, they set down their roots. Carlos taught music for the Dennis Township School District, where his love for the community and schools deepened. They are the proud parents of two “Hawklettes”- Ryan Anne (6) and Carson (4).
While serving in various capacities throughout the township, Carlos’ commitment to his community continues to grow. As a member of the Consolidated Land Use Board, he took an active role in responsible decision making. He has volunteered and fundraised for events and organizations such as “Reading Rumpus,” the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and the Dennis Township Education Foundation.
Carlos is active in the Recreation Department, serving as a coach and a member of the soccer association. Outside of the community, Carlos chairs the Nominations Committee on the Monmouth University Alumni Board of Directors.
When elected, Carlos will offer a fresh perspective in municipal leadership while honoring what makes Dennis Township a wonderful place to live. His vision for Dennis Township includes expanding community events, reviewing and enforcing local ordinances to protect the quality of life, and most importantly, to collaborate with existing committee members to responsibly govern and promote a climate of inclusivity, where all voices are heard and respected.
