Cape Women’s Resource Fund Awards Scholarships

COURT HOUSE — Cape Women’s Resource Fund recently awarded five $1,000 scholarships to young women from Cape May County. Recipients are Susan Bluhm, Cape May County Technical High School; Ashleigh McConnell, Pilgrim Academy; Jamie Ruchser, Lower Cape May Regional High School; Shelby Thornton, Wildwood High School; Lauren Vetter, Ocean City High School, and Rachael Young, also from Ocean City High School.
Cape Women’s Resource Fund, Inc. supports the development of programs for the cultural, educational, civic and social advancement of women in Cape May County. The Fund, established in 1991, promotes equal rights for women and raises money for scholarships to help young women pursue educational opportunities.
