By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – The American Cancer Society and Cape Regional Health System have been partners in battling cancer for decades.  Each year, Cape Regional’s team members also support and participate in two of ACS’s major events – The Relay for Life and Making Strides for Breast Cancer.  Officials from the American Cancer Society recently visited Cape Regional Health System to recognize them as the “Healthcare Champion” for the Relay for Life in Middle Township, NJ and as a “Top Team” for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Ocean City, NJ.
“As the Relay for Life Healthcare Champion for Southern New Jersey, the American Cancer Society would like to thank Cape Regional for their generosity and for welcoming us with open arms,” stated Kirby Reed, Community Manager, Relay for Life. “We so look forward to working with them for the 2017 Relay for Life June 5.”
“Words cannot express how grateful we are for Cape Regional’s support of the American Cancer Society’s mission—to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer,” said Taryn Jones, M.ED., Health Systems Manager, Hospitals for the American Cancer Society.
“Cape Regional Health System is proud to support and work with the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer and for the support of our patients and their families,” stated Tom Piratzky, CFRE, Executive Director, Cape Regional Foundation.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting communities with a shared determination to help free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer.
