Cape Regional Health System Releases Calendar Notes for December, 2015

COURT HOUSE – The Cape Regional Health System has released the calendar notes for December, 2015.
Free Blood Pressure Screening
Cape Regional Medical Center will offer free blood pressure screenings from 9 a.m. to noon, Dec. 4 and 18 in the Outpatient South Lobby. Call 463-4043 for more information.

AA and AlAnon Support Groups Meet at Cape Regional Medical Center

AA and AlAnon Support Groups meet Sundays, Dec. 6, 13, 20, 27 at 10 a.m. in Classrooms A & B and conference rooms 3 & 4. The AA and AlAnon Groups meet Mondays, Dec. 7, 14, 21, 28 at 7 p.m. in conference rooms 3, 4, 5.  AA meets Wednesdays, Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 in rooms 3 & 4 at 8:30 p.m.  New members are welcome. Grief Support Group

Cape Regional Medical Center’s Grief Support Group will meet Wednesdays, Dec. 2 & 16 at 3 p.m. in the Maruchi room.   New members are welcome. Call 463-4043 for more information.
Diabetes Management Series at Cape Regional Medical Center
A comprehensive 8 hour class on diabetes management techniques, including Education, Meal Planning, Medications, Exercise and Blood-Glucose Monitoring.  This class series will be held at the medical center Mondays, Dec. 7, 14, 21, 28, at 10 a.m. in classrooms A & B.  Fee and registration – please call Florence Smith at 463-2547.   
Diabetic Support Group
A meeting with changing diabetic topics.  The meeting is Dec. 10 at 12 noon in classrooms A & B at the medical center.
CPR Certification
CPR certification will be offered at Cape Regional Medical Center Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in classrooms A & B.  The fee is $80 which includes manual; $65 without a manual.  Pre-registration is required.  Please call 463-4043.
CPR Recertification
CPR recertification will be offered at Cape Regional Medical Center Dec. 17 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. in classrooms A & B.  The fee is $45 for class and $60 for class and manual.  Pre-registration is required.  Please call 463-4043.
Breast Cancer Support Group
This is a support group for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, those who are survivors of breast cancer and their families.  The group will meet in the Maruchi room at Cape Regional Medical Center Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.
Diabetes Management Series held in Marmora

Pain Management
The meeting of the Pain Management Support Group will be held Dec. 14 from 2 – 3 p.m. in the Maruchi room at Cape Regional Medical Center.  This is a support group for those who are experiencing chronic pain in their lives.  Please call 463-4043 for more information.
Bariatric Surgery Support Group
The Bariatric Surgery Support Group will meet Dec. 2 for those seeking information on bariatric surgery.  The meeting will be held at 223 N. Main Street in Cape May Court House at 6:30 p.m.  New members are welcome.  For more information, please call 463-1488.
Childbirth Education
Birth Made Simple will be held on Tuesdays, Dec. 7, 14, 21, 28 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Cape Regional Medical Center.  Pre-registration is necessary.  Please call 463-4043.
