CAPE MAY – It was a beautiful day for beautiful babies to take to the streets for the 81st Cape May Baby Parade on Aug. 2. This year’s Miss New Jersey, Cara McCollum, served as Grand Marshall. Other dignitaries included Cape May Mayor Dr. Edward Mahaney, Jr. and Queen Maysea Alexandra Marie Bruno and her court.
Other participants included the Cape May Police, Cape May Fire & Rescue, Miss Cape May County Outstanding Teen Megan Keenan, Miss Cape Resort Ashlyn Laveson, the Fred Hall Band, McGruff the Crime Fighting Dog, the Congress Street Brass Band, Camp Cape May, Shelley the Mermaid (Suzanne Muldowney), the Cape May County String Band, the Great Charles “The Clown” Senack, Doctors of Rhythm, John McNair the Stiltwalker, and the Ed Coles Band.
