Cape May Stage/MAC Host Playhouse for Kids

By Jack Fichter

CAPE MAY— Cape May Stage’s air-conditioned Robert Shackleton Playhouse, Bank and Lafayette streets, hosts summer silliness during Cape May Kids Playhouse, Mondays, July 5 through Aug. 16.
Cape May Stage and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC) present family-friendly shows with music, merriment, magic and more!
Children can get in on the act with the show “Cape May Kids!” inspired by the novella “Down the Shore” by Gwynne Spencer on Mondays, July 5 through Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. The show takes a look back at Cape May in the 50s and offers plenty of nostalgia for grownups and amusing music for kids!
On Mondays, Aug. 9 and Aug. 16 at 10 a.m., Cape May Kids Playhouse presents “Magic at the Cape.” This is a one-hour magical journey for children ages 5 and above and features not one, but two magicians!
Join magicians Johnny Mass and Michael Walsh inside the beautiful Robert Shackleton Playhouse in Cape May this summer and experience a magical morning with your family!
Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children (ages 3-12).
