CAPE MA – Cape May’s 2017 Queen Maysea LXXXV and her court will be honored at Cape May Convention Hall Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. when the new queen is crowned during the 85th Annual Queen Maysea Coronation.
Queen Maysea LXXXV Kaitlyn Flynn, 10 years of age will enter 5th grade at West Cape May Elementary School this fall. Kaitlyn loves swimming, tennis, playing flute and singing in church. Her future ambition is to be an engineer.
This Year’s Princesses in the Queen’s Princess court are Quinn Hassay, Monica Kobierowski, Victoria Laurenzi, Anastasia Ohrenich, Kateriina Ojasoo, Lily Olexa, Hailey Serra, Georgia Shutter, Grace Watson and Nah’jaye Wright. This year’s flower girls are Abigail Bomba, Brooke Bonner, Zoe Cardillo, Marin Donahue, McKenna Douglas, Julianna Dunkelberger, Paisley Elias, Sophia Gilliam, Eden Kobielnik, Haddie Watson and Adeline Yerk.
The festivities are free and open to the public with the Honorable Mayor Clarence Lear III of Historic Cape May presiding over the ceremony. Mary Stewart, Chief Outreach Strategist of the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts is the Mistress of Ceremony.
Last Year’s Queen Cheyenne Hamby will also participate in the coronation and be recognized for her outstanding one-year reign.
