COURT HOUSE – Beat the Heat! Come to the Cape May County Zoo for a Snow Day! Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel announced that the Cape May County Park and Zoo will host a special Snow Day at the Zoo event from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
The zoo is joining with the Snow Leopard Trust Fund and The Woodland Park Zoo for a one day Coast to Coast Snow Leopard Conservation Fun Day! This free event will include games, activities and face painting. Also, handmade items from Mongolia will be on sale.
While at the zoo, meet our newest Snow Leopard Cub, born in May, and cast your vote for what his name will be! The Snow Leopards are just one species of the more than 250 species and over 500 animals that call the Cape May County Free Zoo home.
The Zoo, located at 707 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House, is currently open from 10 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. The Zoo is open, weather permitting, 364 days a year – closed on Christmas Day.
