Cape May County to Hold Memorial Day Service

COURT HOUSE – Freeholder Gerald Thornton announced that the Cape May County Veterans’ Bureau will hold its annual Memorial Day Service at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Cape May County Veterans’ Cemetery.
Speakers include Freeholder Director Dan Beyel and the Board of Chosen Freeholders and John Weigand, MA1, USNR, recently returned from Afghanistan.
The United States Coast Guard will provide the ceremonial detail and representatives from Cape May County Veterans’ organizations will also participate in the program that honors our fallen veterans.
