Cape May County Sheriff’s Office Participates in ‘No Shave November’

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Sheriff’s Office and its officers once again participated in “No Shave November” to raise money for cancer victims. This year, 87 officers participated, including 63 correction officers and 24 sheriff officers.
This fundraiser was to help support medical costs for Correction Officer Robert O’Donnell’s father who is currently battling colon and liver cancer. Collectively, these officers raised $4,350 to offset medical costs.
“I am proud of all the officers who contributed to this cause. It especially hits home when it is the father of one of the officers,” stated Sheriff Gary Schaffer.
Anyone wishing to donate to this cause can contact Capt. Chuck Magill at 465-1258.
