PETERSBURG – The Cape May County Library will host the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) for two public meetings. The meetings will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Upper Library located at 2050 Route 631, Petersburg on Monday, May 9th and at the Main Library located at 30 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House on Wednesday, May 25th.
The South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization is holding a series of public meetings for input on a long-range plan through the year 2040. The SJTPO would like to know what you see as the most pressing issues in the transportation network in South Jersey and what you think the priorities are in the future.
The SJTPO is the Federally-designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for South Jersey. Its goal is to provide a forum for cooperative decision-making among responsible state and local officials, public and private transit operators and the general public.
