Cape May County Art Exhibit to be Held April 24-May 5

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – The 1st Annual Cape May County Art Exhibit will take place from April 24 to May 5 at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center.  The exhibit, formerly the National Arts Program, is designed to give all artists throughout the County, at all skill levels and all ages, an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional setting and to compete for cash prizes.  The exhibit is sponsored by the Cape May County Culture & Heritage Commission and is judged by professionals in Amateur, Intermediate, Professional and Youth divisions.  There are no entries fees to participate in the exhibit.  The only requirement is that the artist must be a resident of Cape May County.  A reception and awards ceremony will be held as part of the exhibit to celebrate the outstanding art and allow friends and family to view the exhibit and the Commission to present the prizes for the divisions.  We encourage all artists to participate in this event to showcase the great art that is produced in Cape May County.

For more information and/or to register to participate in this exhibit, please visit the Culture & Heritage website, www.cmcculture.net or email culture@co.cape-may.nj.us or call (609)465-1066.
