Cape May County 4-H Offers New Leader Orientation

COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program will be offering a New 4-H Club Leader Orientation on Fri., Feb. 26, 2016. The training will take place from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension office at 355 Court House-S. Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Light refreshments will be provided.
4-H invites adults, 21 years and up, who wish to make a difference in the lives of local youth to attend to learn more.
“Volunteers are at the core of the Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program, and critical to the success of its youth members,” said Linda Horner, Acting 4-H Agent. Volunteer hours are completely flexible and up to the individual. “Volunteers who give of their time and talents help youth build leadership skills, gain confidence and learn the value of helping others,” added Horner.
The 4-H Youth Development Program is part of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers Cooperative Extension. 4-H educational programs are offered to all youth grades K – 13 on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, natural origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
