COURT HOUSE – As the snow fell gently in Cape May Court House, so did the grace of God, as Cape Hope served God by serving others in their first distribution day event. The overwhelming support of our hosts of the Seventh- day Adventist Church in Cape May Court House, as well as the support of our volunteers was one hundred percent evident. They served over fifty people and families received goods to help endure the cold temperatures that are upon us.
Through the support of County Offices and community organizations and the public, Cape Hope received substantial donations and offered them free of charge with no questions asked to those in need of a hand up. Although the turnout was positive, there are leftovers. If you have a need or know of a need please contact Cape Hope at 609-997-1794 or connect with us on Facebook and we will be happy to fill that need.
Cape Hope holds their meeting the first Monday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Stella Maris Council #3546, 324 Breakwater Rd Erma. We hope you will join us as we serve those who are experiencing homelessness and hardship.
