Cape Freeholders Accept Zoo Donation from Quality Electric

COURT HOUSE – Freeholder E. Marie Hayes announced that Jim Rowland, the owner of Quality Electric presented a donation in the amount of $449 for the Cape May County Zoo to the Board of Chosen Freeholders at their meeting on Oct. 22, 2013.
From Aug. 22 through Sept. 22, Quality Electric held a Facebook campaign asking people to like or comment on one of four charities, The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, The Wounded Warriors, the Marine Corp Scholarship Fund and the Cape May County Zoo and Quality Electric committed to donating a $1 for each comment the charity received.
Freeholder Hayes said, “The Cape May County Zoo received 449 comments and Jim honored his commitment by donating that amount of money to our zoo. We are so grateful to Jim, Quality Electric staff and everyone who voted for our zoo.”
