WILDWOOD – Cape Classics Motorcycle Club presented the Wildwood Beach Patrol with two beach-accessible handicapped wheelchairs, Aug. 11.
The club’s Vice President Doug Ford stated in a release, “Our organization donated $3,700 for the chairs due to our deep commitment to the community. We want to assure all our visitors have equal access to enjoy the best beach New Jersey has to offer.”
On the same day, Cape Classics Motorcycle Club made a $2,000 donation to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Post No. 44 for their transportation needs.
DAV was in need of funding to keep their transportation vans insured. Those vans are used to convey local veterans to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
The club’s President Roland Roy stated, “CCMC is a proud supporter to our veterans, and we are glad to help the DAV to provide services to those who so deserve it.”
