Cape Assist to Host Town Meeting on Underage Drinking

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Healthy Community Coalition, a community initiative of Cape Assist, will host a county wide Town Meeting on Wed., April 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium at the Atlantic Cape Community College. All residents of Cape May County are invited and encouraged to attend.
April is alcohol awareness month and the event is meant to address and bring awareness to the issues and consequences associated with underage drinking in our county. Our guest speaker is Don Hallcom. He is the Director of Prevention and Early Intervention with the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services. He will share his insight on how the fields of prevention, treatment and mental health are starting to merge.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 1:00 p.m. The program will end at 2:00 p.m. A lite lunch will be served from 12:30-1:00 p.m. For more information or to rsvp, please contact kim@capeassist.org or call
