CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Zina Beth Thompson, Lead Housekeeper/Trainer, has been a member of the Crothall Environmental Services Team at Cape Regional since November 2014. She was recognized in the fourth quarter of 2015 with the quarterly GEM2 award and was awarded the GEM2 of the Year Award in late December. The GEM2 Program is one of Crothall Healthcare’s Hourly Employee Recognition Programs which stands for “Great Employees Make Magic.”
“Zina was selected GEM2 of the Year from 12 other regional Crothall accounts. She is always smiling and cheerful. She focuses on her customers – which include patients, nurses, physicians and support staff. She has a reputation for going “above and beyond” to make certain her patient care area is spotless,” stated Kirk Walkhoff, Director of Environmental Services at Cape Regional Health System. “We are so appreciative of Zina’s dedication and commitment to the Cape Regional organization. We congratulate her on this amazing recognition.”
Ms. Thompson lives in Cape May Court House. She enjoys spending her spare time with her daughters, Tiffany and Phebe, and two grandchildren. For the past 20 years, Ms. Thompson has also served as a volunteer EMT with Middle Township, Cape May Court House Volunteer Firefighter and as a 911 dispatcher.
