Avalon – The Yacht Club of Stone Harbor has announced the appointment of new Board Members, starting a term for the 2013-2014 season. The following members have been announced with new Board positions; Judy Phelps, Scott Nestle and Jack Chopak. In addition, Miles Truesdell was appointed as the new Chairman of the Board.
Board Members at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor are responsible to lead the Club into the future with budgetary reviews, strategic planning, membership and more. The new Flag Officers for the Club, Commodore, Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore, will be announced in November 1, 2013.
The Yacht Club of Stone Harbor is a member-only Club, located at 90th and the bay in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. The Club is open year-round to members in good standing for dining, sailing and special events, and is also available for banquets and specials events. Memberships for the 2013-2014 season are currently being accepted.
