By Harry B. Scheeler Jr.

WOODBINE– Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey has based their South Jersey Blimp operations at the Woodbine Municipal airport for the 13th Annual Tour of New Jersey this summer.
As if the blimp did not stand out in the sky’s of New Jersey enough this year the blimp is adorned with a new pink gondola, fins and nose cone.
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure have formed a collaborative partnership to raise the awareness and educate New Jersey residents on the importance of getting a mammogram.

The 132 foot airship which is fully illuminated at night can easily be viewed from the port authority terminal.
The blimp travels frequently so Blimp fans are invited to check daily operation updates on Facebook or Twitter page.
