West Cape May’s Cub Scout Pack 73 are the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteers of the Month for June 2018. Scouts and supporters of Cub Scout Pack 73 in West Cape May came out on Earth Day, April 22, 2018, to the Emlen Physick Estate to do planting and beautification, shown here, at left. MAC’s Chief Operating Officer Melissa Payne nominated them for their efforts. “The cubs and their supporters were a tremendous help,” she said. “They spent the day planting all the flowerbeds and pots around the gazebo and the Carriage House Café & Tearoom. We really appreciate them volunteering their time and hard work.” Shown here at right, are the flowering beds thriving, that surround the gazebo, as of June 29, 2018.
