Volunteers in Medicine Celebrates Culture of Caring at Annual Gala

The Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) clinic provides a compassionate and nurturing environment for patients, volunteers and staff based on a philosophy that healing does not begin with a pill or therapy, but when we greet someone at the door, invite them in, take an interest in their lives, and give them the dignity and respect they often get nowhere else. The VIM model is based on a Culture of Caring that we celebrate each year at our Annual Gala. This year’s gala was presented by Cape Savings Bank and OceanFirst Bank on September 9. Guests enjoyed a fabulous evening at Sand Barrens Golf Club.
