AVALON – We have a resident who can no longer walk and her wish was to be able to go into the ocean again. So, we organized it with the Avalon Beach Patrol and Matt Wolf.
When we told Anne that we would be taking a beach trip on Fri., Aug. 12, she was beside herself.
I have already received a very excited “thank you” from Anne for setting this entire thing up. This has been such a wonderful experience to do something so small that means so much to someone.
My thanks to my Executive Director, Krista Rickards for helping set this day up for Anne.
As long as there are dreams we will try to do our best to keep them coming true!
We have also taken one of Anne’s friends along with us to help celebrate. Her name is also Ann.
