PLEASANTVILLE — American Red Cross Southern Shore Chapter, as a member of the Citizen’s Veteran’s Advisory Committee, is pleased to present an information resource day on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 10am – 2pm at the Naval Air Station Museum on 500 Forrestal Road in Rio Grande.
The event will offer veterans specific resources for homeless prevention and other local resources in Cape May County. Representatives from local hospitals, the VA, and many community resources will be present. Some of the information will include: Home Care Information, VA Entitlements & Assistance, Health/Mental Health Information, Homeless Prevention Assistance, and Legal Resources.
A highlight of the event will be our guest speaker: Assemblyman Sgt. Bob Andrzejczak.
Citizen’s Advisory Committee Members participating include: Disabled American Veterans 44, Cape Regional Medical Center, Synergy Home Care, and Catholic Charities.
Light refreshments will be provided.
