WILDWOOD – The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority has signed a three-year agreement with Suasion Communications Group/Smith O’Keefe to represent the authority as its public relations agency of record.
“We have been very pleased with the results Suasion Communications Group/Smith O’Keefe has achieved since we first signed with them last spring,” said John Siciliano, executive director of the authority, in a release. “The firm has been instrumental in communicating our distinct message to prospective visitors and exposing them to the one-of-a-kind Wildwoods experience.”
“There are so many great stories to tell about the Wildwoods. The island is reaching a critical tipping point, and our team will continue to effectively communicate the resort’s unique message through well-placed stories in key media outlets,” said Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt, president of Suasion Communications Group/Smith O’Keefe.
“The authority selected the firm to not only get the word out regarding the island’s numerous assets and events, but to also herald tourism to its visitors at a time of economic uncertainty,” the release continued.
“The tourism economy is very competitive, and with the national economy being what it is, we need to take every opportunity to remind the consumer that the Wildwoods offer something for everyone including New Jersey’s best free beaches an exciting free boardwalk and many free special events, festivals, entertainment and more,” said Ben Rose, authority marketing and public relations director.
