The Reeds at Shelter Haven Welcomes New General Manager

By Sponsored Content

STONE HARBOR – It doesn’t take a genius to recognize talent, but it does take talent to execute genius the way John Daily has for the past 25 years.
Daily delivers his signature charisma, high-visibility and unparalleled knack for running successful hotels to The Reeds, a year-young luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Stone Harbor, NJ. As the ‘new face’ of The Reeds, Daily plans to fully immerse himself in the hotel’s culture and execute world-class operational standards that will bring the resort to a whole new level.
“From our coastal casual Water Star Grille to our richly appointed guestrooms and suites, we will deliver personalized hospitality at every touch point; guests will feel like they are a member of The Reeds family while they are staying with us,” explained Daily. “Without trying to sound boastful, one of my top attributes is a natural ability to make guests feel special, and I look forward to putting that into action here at The Reeds.”
Daily’s resume boasts more than two decades of progressive leadership experience as well as a stunning reputation for providing world-class guest services to some of the world’s elite hotels and resorts in Boston, Chicago and Ocean City, NJ – among them Dwyer Hotels & Resorts, HEI Hotels & Resorts, and most recently a successful 12-year run as general manager of Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ.
“We are thrilled to welcome John Daily as our General Manager,” explained Ron Gorodesky, managing director of The Reeds. “John’s reputation for extraordinary excellence combined with his leadership skills, management style and undeniable talent for personalized, exceptional guest services will take The Reeds to a new hospitality echelon, not duplicated anywhere in the region.”
As GM, Daily oversees day-to-day resort operations, including guestroom, food and beverage and retail outlet services, as well as acting as the community relations/owner liaison; while providing staff leadership and development of the staff and executing procedures that achieve smooth operations.
