On Aug. 7, The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor formally announced its expansion of the luxury property. The Reeds will open 22 new guest rooms in fall 2018, and a two-story spa in winter 2019. The Salt Spa will be the first full-service spa of its kind on the Seven Mile Island, including a Turkish bath and Brine Room, fitness center, blow out bar and nail salon. In attendance at the ceremony were Stone Harbor Mayor Judy Davies-Dunhour, local dignitaries, owners/designers and media.
