The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation in partnership with Atlantic Cape Community College and the county’s local chambers of commerce will introduce “The Jersey Cape Experience Serving Dreams in 2016,” a customer service training program for the Cape May County tourism industry.
“The Jersey Cape Experience Serving Dreams in 2016” program will be introduced to business owners, managers and supervisors on Wednesday, April 20 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Wildwoods Convention Center. This customer service training program is designed to help businesses increase their bottom line and grow customer loyalty by delivering superior service to their guests. This session will be facilitated by Mary Foltz, a customer service training expert and owner of Service Counts.
“Our goal is to have every visitor to Cape May County be wowed by the superior service they receive at every business and with every person they interact with while visiting. We want Cape May County to be the new standard of excellent customer service in the tourism industry,” reported Vicki Clark, Executive Director of the County Chamber’s Education Foundation.
The owners, managers and supervisors session on April 20 will be followed by 15 training sessions for employees held throughout the county from May 24 to June 30. This training is provided through a cooperative effort with Atlantic Cape Community College and the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation and funded through a grant from the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development and the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
