On October 5, the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May held its annual installation dinner at the Grand Hotel in Cape May. New executive board members are Tracie Cicchitti – President, Bernadette Matthews – Vice President, Michael Clark – Vice President, Veronica Morey – Vice President, Mary Stewart – Secretary and Elizabeth Hulitt – Treasurer. The new board of directors includes Kylie Bush, Dillon Mullock, Shirley Phinney and Kelsey Wise.
Yearly awards for the evening were given to John and Fran Sardoni – Community Volunteers, Ann Lentz – The Good Neighbor, Travis Davis – Green Cape May, Business Investment – Talia McCullen, Business Renovation – Larry, Jonathan and Joe Hirsch, Member Volunteer – Elizabeth Hulitt, Tourism Partner – Carol Herforth, Community Partner of the Year – Captain Rob Sheehan and The Beautification Award – Rotary Park to the Fund for Cape May
New this year, the chamber highlighted businesses that have stood the test of time with a Milestone Award. This year’s recipients were Congress Hall – 200 years, Chalfonte Hotel – 140 years, Paramount Air Service – 70 years, Montreal Beach Resort – 50 years, Starlight Fleet – 40 years and Antoinette’s Apartment & Suites – 25 years.
