The Brodesser Cancer Center at Cape Regional Receives Reaccreditation from the Commission on Cancer

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Thomas and Claire Brodesser, Jr. Cancer Center (Brodesser Cancer Center) at Cape Regional is pleased to announce that the Commission on Cancer (CoC) has granted their Cancer Program full three-year reaccreditation.
“On behalf of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC), I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Cape Regional’s cancer program on achieving CoC Accreditation,” stated Linda W. Ferris, PhD, Chair, Accreditation Committee. CoC Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence and awarded to cancer care programs that have made a commitment to providing high quality, comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient-centered care as demonstrated through compliance with the CoC Accreditation Standards,” Ferris concluded.

The Brodesser Cancer Center provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art cancer care close to home, utilizing Varian TrueBeam Radiation Therapy Technology—treating prostate cancer in 5 versus 40 treatments and some lung cancers in 3 versus 35 treatments. The Brodesser Cancer Center is a multi-disciplinary program that provides both cancer treatment and support to the patient through breast health navigation services, nutritional counseling, rehabilitation programs and support groups.
