COLD SPRING – Thankful Thursday at Cold Spring Brewery Feb. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. benefits the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), and members of the public are invited to this free admission event.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to MAC to benefit ongoing preservation and cultural enrichment projects in Cape May.
Attendees can mingle, relax by the fireplace and socialize, as well as learn more about MAC and its plans for 2017. Purchase a beer or homemade soda by a warm fireplace or an outdoor fire pit, weather permitting, in this 1806 barn, the newly renovated Cold Spring Brewery, Historic Cold Spring Village, 720 Route 9.
Those interested in volunteering or partnership opportunities are encouraged to submit ideas for working with your business or community group. Submissions into a “brainstorming box” will qualify entrants for a drawing to win a Day In Cape May Package, which includes free admission to the Cape May Lighthouse, World War II Lookout Tower and Emlen Physick Estate, plus a Historic District Trolley Tour.
“We are hoping this event will not only raise funds for our preservation efforts, but also be an opportunity to discover new ways to work with our community partners,” said Director Michael Zuckerman.
