Celebrate by raising a glass in gratitude to the folks who encourage the creation and appreciation of outstanding films in southern New Jersey! Thankful Thursday at Cold Spring Brewery on March 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. will benefit the Cape May Film Society. The Cape May Film Society has been showing outstanding films and training New Jersey teens in film making since 2001. Each year they’ve held an annual juried film festival that emphasizes creative works by New Jersey filmmakers. A week-long film camp is available for middle and high school students, in which they learn by writing, shooting and editing short films.
Cold Spring Brewery is located on Route 626, 733 Seashore Rd., three miles north of Victorian Cape May and a mile and a half west of the southern terminus of the Garden State Parkway.
Historic Cold Spring Village is a non-profit, open-air living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community of the Early American period.
