Take Control of Your Health Workshop at Cape Regional

COURT HOUSE – Take Control of Your Health is a free six-week workshop for persons with any ongoing or long-term health conditions. This program, developed by Stanford University, has been proven to have positive results such as improved physical and mental health, more effective healthcare utilization and reduced healthcare expenditures. The classes are recommended for those with heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, high blood pressure, depression and many other conditions. Family members and caregivers are welcomed to attend.
The program will be held at Cape Regional Medical Center on Thursdays in May and June from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Classroom A, located on the ground floor of the Medical Center. The first class will be held on Thu., May 10, 2012. The program is free; however registration is required. Cape Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of the Penn Medicine Health System (University of Pennsylvania) for Cancer Care and Cardiac Care, accredited by The Joint Commission with its Gold Seal of Approval and an Accredited Chest Pain Center.
