Taco Bell in Rio Grande Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony REVISED DATE

The public, press and local officials are invited to attend the RESCHEDULED grand opening ribbon cutting celebration of Taco Bell on Tuesday, July 11 at 9 a.m. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Middle Township Mayor, Michael Clark and Middle Township Economic Development Council will host a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the new business to Cape May County. Taco Bell’s anticipated opening date is Wednesday, June 28 at 7 a.m. Taco Bell is an American chain of fast-food restaurants based in Irvine, Calif. A subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., they serve a variety of Tex-Mex foods, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, other specialty items and a variety of “value menu” items. The brand new constructed building seats 50 patrons and will offer drive through service. Taco Bell will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Brian Murphy, Chairman of the Middle Township Economic Development Council, stated, “It is awesome to see continued growth and development in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township. We wish the Taco Bell franchise nothing but success in its investment in our community.”
The Rio Grande location is franchised by Summerwood Corporation. With over 100 restaurants and more than 3,000 employees, Summerwood Corporation is among the largest franchise-owned restaurant operating companies in the Greater Philadelphia and Baltimore metropolitan areas.
